The Meridian is situated in the heart of the town opposite Ayr railway station and adjacent to its sister property, the three star Ayrshire and Galloway Hotel. It benefits from a great outlook from where you can watch the world go by over a latte, lunch or evening meal and has its private parking to the rear.
Opening at 8 am it serves probably the best coffee around, just perfect to set you on your day.
With an extensive menu available all day starting with scrambled egg and wholemeal bread for breakfast and an array of freshly made sandwiches for lunch it has proved popular with the office set as well as shoppers on Ayr’s busy shopping circuit.
Later in the day it transforms into a buzzing bar with those finishing work, sharing a bottle of wine with some nibbles before they go home and others who want an ice cold beer or even a champagne cocktail to welcome the weekend.
